Purple Ski are one of the few companies to employ in-house masseuses in Meribel. We have one permanent – and highly qualified – holistic therapist on the team who are available to treat you at your chalet and help ease away the aches and pains from a hard day pummelling the pistes. Or simply to help relax you and take away the tensions of everyday life and even help with your long-term well-being.

Our in-house masseuse this year is Lucie Noble. Lucie worked for us for the 2007-2008 season and we are delighted that she is coming back to us this season.

Lucie, who worked with us in 2007-2008, is a Chartered Physiotherapist, with 5 years post-qualification experience working in the NHS but also supporting a rugby club as a physiotherapist, providing pre and post-match massage treatments. As well as a great deal of experience in treating musculoskeletal issues, she is also trained in sports injury / remedial massage. After leaving us in 2008, she worked for a private clinic in Harley Street and for a private client on the James Bond "Quantum of Solace" world tour before going travelling to Australia and South America.

Lucie will be able to customise your massage to meet your individual needs, from treatment and advice for an injury to deep relaxation or and pampering. Their holistic massage approach includes elements of the following:

  • Deep tissue and sports injury massage: This involves a range of deep tissue massage techniques which treat sport injuries and aid performance. The massage can be invigorating and energising and is excellent for targeting those sore and aching muscles.
  • Swedish (relaxing) massage: Probably the most well known form of massage. It involves a range of techniques applied to the skin using oils. It can be used to break down scar tissue, increase blood circulation, invigorate or relax.
  • Physiotherapy: This is an actual consultation (25 minutes) and treatment session (50 minutes) with our chartered physiotherapist, who is experienced in treating musculoskeletal and sports injuries. She uses manual therapy techniques to treat the specific symptoms of acute or chronic injury and can give guidance in the rehabilitation of injuries through exercises carried out when away from the treatment couch. It is highly recommended for those with muscle or joint problems caused during your day on the slopes or those with any previous injuries that may still be causing irritation.

Lucie is available every day except Monday from 4pm to 8pm

Cost is €75 per 50 minute session and €55 for a 25 minute massage or physiotherapy consultation only.

Massages can be pre-booked or arranged after you have arrived.
