All our chalets have outdoor hot tubs, four also have either a steam room / hammam or a sauna.

James TownsendJames Townsend

James Townsend has worked as a personal trainer and sports masseur for the last 4 years with a wide range of clients ranging from elite sportsmen (including Olympic sprinters) to 70+ year olds of both genders (golfers and office workers), looking to improve health and fitness through training and diet.

An athlete himself (he was British U20 Triple Jump Champion in 2005 - among other achievements) he learned about the benefits of massage to keep himself injury free and in top form. He obtained his SMA Level 4 Sports Massage Diploma in 2007 and has a vast amount of massage experience, mainly concentrating on deep tissue massage and active release techniques to reduce muscle soreness and treat injuries. However, over time he has also developed his skills to give relaxing and soothing treatments, at the same time as treating painful areas, to suit all types of clientele.

As a PICP Level 1 Strength and Conditioning Coach, he also works with clients to assess their current diet and lifestyle, and devising individual training and diet programmes.

Tamzin GrimesTamzin Grimes

Tamzin Grimes obtained her Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training and Sports Massage Therapy in February 2009 and since then, has been applying her skills at a private gym / sports centre in Dorset, also developing a wide base of private clients. She decided to concentrate on massage, so in May 2011 become self-employed, treating on average for about 10 hours per week, often much more during summer weekends as she also treats her fellow handlers at "Dog Agility" competitions and related shows (this is her hobby - she has competed in many regional and national finals including Crufts!). She has also treated regularly some high end athletes and sportmen.

Tamzin is also trained in foot and Indian Head massage.

James and Tamzin will be able to customise your massage to meet your individual needs, from treatment and advice for an injury to deep relaxation or and pampering, also personal fitness training and dietary advice.


James is available every day except Monday, from 4pm to 8pm; Tamzin is available every day except Wednesday, from 4pm to 8pm.

Cost is from €60 (low season) to €75 per 50 minute session and €45 (low season) to €55 for a 25 minute massage or physiotherapy consultation only.

Treatments can be pre-booked via the web site or arranged after you have arrived.
