Minibus Service - The Details

 

ALL CHALETS
In the mornings, your personal driver, dedicated to your chalet, will be on hand in a toasty warm vehicle from 8.30am until 10.30am if need be, to take you to the slopes, helping you load and unload your skis (and children!).

From 10.30 to 12.00 noon and 13.00 to 16.00, one of our drivers remains on duty - and on call (all our drivers have mobile phones); with just 20 minutes notice he/she can pick you up again from the Chaudanne, Meribel (or the Mottaret centre for Olympie III guests) to take you back to your chalet. The driver has one hour off between 12.00 and 13.00 when he/she is not available.

If you are ending your ski day between 4.00 and 5.30pm, there is no need to call anyone - just turn up at the Les Castors meeting point (at the Chaudanne, Meribel) and there will always be one of our Purple Ski minibuses ready to take you back home. Olympie guests can either be picked up at Castors at this time or else pre-book a pick-up from Mottaret.

After 5.30pm and before dinner, again just call the duty driver and he/she will be able to pick you up from the Chaudanne (or the Mottaret centre for Olympie III guests) and take you back to the chalet.

CHALETS KOUNELI & IAMATO
You can be driven to, and picked up from, anywhere you wish* within the Meribel valley. Your private chauffeur service continues after dinner if needed (please pre-book with your driver before you sit down to dinner), until 1.00 in the morning.

CHALET CHOPINE
You can be driven to, and picked up from, anywhere you wish* within the Meribel valley. The service is a day-time one only, so there no after-dinner service.

OLYMPIE III
You can be driven to, and picked up from, anywhere you wish* within the Meribel valley. The service is a day-time one only, so there is no after-dinner service, with the exception of the chalet staff's night out. On this evening, should you wish to eat at a restaurant in Meribel, the driver will take you to the restaurant and also bring you home again at the end of your evening, provided the return journey is before 11pm.

ROUSILLON
The service operates between the chalet and the Meribel lift centre, the Chaudanne* only, and the service is a day-time one only, so there no after-dinner service. There is also a 7pm "Ronnie run", to bring anyone enjoying apres-ski at the Rond Point des Pistes bar back to the chalet.

• Please note that, to ease congestion and for safety reasons, the Meribel authorities have designated a client pick up and drop off area at "Les Castors", near the Chaudanne. This is therefore the main drop off and pick up point for the ski lifts in Meribel. We are not permitted to pick up and drop off from the main Chaudanne car park or from outside the Cactus Café
• We are able to drop you off near the Tourist Office however, where you can take the escalator up to the piste and ski down to the Chaudanne...
