Chalet Chef
Introduction
We are looking for talented, passionate, and enthusiastic chefs to join the Purple Ski luxury chalet team. Ideal candidates will have experience within high-end hospitality environments, including fine dining restaurants, luxury chalets, private villas, yachts, or exclusive private residences, alongside a genuine passion for exceptional food and service.
As a Purple Ski Chalet Chef, you will create high-quality breakfasts, afternoon teas, and memorable evening dining experiences for guests staying in our luxury alpine chalets. Food is a central part of the guest experience, and we encourage our chefs to showcase creativity, attention to detail, and individuality through beautifully presented dishes and thoughtfully designed menus.
This is a fast-paced and highly rewarding role suited to chefs who thrive under pressure, maintain exceptionally high standards, and enjoy working as part of a professional and supportive team in some of the Alps’ most prestigious ski resorts.
The Role
The Chalet Chef is a key member of the chalet team, working closely with the Chalet Manager and chalet staff to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the property. Acting in many ways as a private chef, you will tailor menus to guest preferences and dietary requirements while consistently delivering exceptional food and beverage service throughout their stay.
The role requires excellent organisation, strong time management, adaptability, and a commitment to maintaining Purple Ski’s reputation for outstanding hospitality. While shopping is not required, the Chef is responsible for managing food and beverage ordering, stock control, and kitchen operations within an allocated budget.
